Founded in 2003 by business strategist, Maurice JP Piché

After his studies in Marketing at the HEC (Montreal University), Maurice JP Piché worked at Honeywell in automation maintenance contract prior to being  promoted to Communication Director. He then moved to Paris, France to create  and lead a European subsidiary for a NY based life science manufacturer. He  then returned to Canada and created his own high tech equipment distribution company that was sold 5 years later. Back in France for a turnaround mandate of a major medical US company, he came back to Canada four years later to lead the development of Andromed inc in 1998. The success of this high tech equipment has resulted  in an IPO just 3 years later. Since 2003, Maurice JP Piché has been active in real estate investments and strategic planning/international trade consultant. 

In early 2011, he joined efforts with the co-founder of Sonitec inc to buy back the company assets of this cleantech international leader and redeploy its activities internationally. His entrepreneurial profile brings to Sonitec-Vortisand extensive knowledge in international trade, channel management and corporate strategic planning. Directly involved in the market development of the GCC countries for Sonitec-Vortisand, he has traveled extensively in the middle-east region to promote its technologies which lead to the creation of a subsidiary in Dubai, UAE. and a prominent leader position in international cleantech water technologies.

Early 2014, Sonitec-Vortisand was sold to a major US filter manufacturer (owned by Audax Group, the largest equity fund active in SMC). Maurice Piché has since then intensified its consultant activity while pursuing its revenue property ownership and management.
